I spent 12 years managing the books and day-to-day financial operations for a small construction business, and during that time I saw firsthand what it looks like when a business owner is stretched too thin — juggling clients, projects, employees, and finances all at once with little time left to breathe. That experience gave me more than just bookkeeping skills. It gave me a real understanding of what small business owners actually go through.
I also ran my own small online vintage clothing business, so I know what it feels like to be on your side of the table — wearing every hat, making every decision, and trying to keep the numbers from becoming a source of stress. With a degree in Business Management and QuickBooks Online certifications backing my hands-on experience, I launched Moon Briseno Bookkeeping right here in Los Angeles to offer small business owners and freelancers reliable, personalized bookkeeping they can count on.
